We are looking for someone who has experience working with children with SEND to join our growing team at our Wild Ones Holiday Club.
Wild Ones holiday club offers children of school age an exciting outdoor adventure experience. Our team are passionate about getting children outside and excited about nature and wildlife and we love working in our amazing setting surrounded by woodland and opposite Wild Woodbury, the Dorset Wildlife Trust nature reserve. We run a range of Forest School, crafting, gardening, wildlife and bushcraft activities during every school holiday and also offer workshops for adults and children on Saturdays at Wooders Campsite and sometimes further afield when we attend events.
We would like to make our club accessible to all children and are looking for someone to work with a small group of children or 1:1 to provide assistance and remove barriers to learning so children with SEND can take part in the fabulous activities we have on offer.
Role and responsibilities
The successful applicant will work alongside our team in providing fun activities for the children, and adapting the activities if needed to make them more accessible.
Our aim at Wild Ones is to give every child a fun, memorable experience and inspire a love of nature and the outdoors.
You will work in a small group or 1:1 depending on the additional needs of the child/children.
