About the festival
Wooders Wild Weekend is all about small and local. Celebrating some fantastic local Dorset businesses and helping raise some money for some wonderful charities! With some brilliant local musicians thrown in too plus Camping and Glamping you can be sure of a wonderful wild weekend!
Wild Ones Activities
The Wild Ones area will be a hive of activity, with family-friendly craft events all weekend as well as bushcraft events on Sunday. All our activities are family-friendly, though children under 12 will need to be accompanied by an adult,
All workshops cost just £8 per person!
Saturday
- Tie-dye a t-shirt
- Make a festival tutu
- Design and make botanical resin jewellery
- Mosaic a mirror, coaster or picture frame
Sunday
- Make a flower crown
- Needle felt a woodland animal
- Design and make botanical resin jewellery
- Create a mini succulent terrarium
- Foraging and mammal tracking walk
- Axe and knife throwing
- Knife work and green woodworking
- Fire craft

Food and drink
Dorset has a lot to be proud of on the food and drink front!
There will be lots of Food vendors coming along to keep you all wed fed and watered and with everything from street food to gin bars, you’ll be well catered for whatever your tastes!

Wild Weekender are delighted to be showing off over 50 local small businesses; Crafters and Creators, Makers and Producers – lots of very talented people doing their thing and showing themselves off!

Glamping
Perfect Party Tents will be setting up Glamping Villages on site so you can make your weekend truly memorable – and enjoy some real camping comforts!
With Fully Glamped 5m Bell Tents available for the weekend all sleeping up to 6 people with everything you need ready for you – beds, bedding, decor – the lot! All you need to decide is who to bring! Oh – and don’t forget your toothbrush!
Camping
Of course there will be camping pitches available too. Wooder is a dog friendly site (on leads) and can welcome all tents, campers and caravans but there is NO electric hook up – they are all about rustic and rural at Wooders so switch off and enjoy!
